 Out of season site rates Just wondered what other hardy Winter 'streamers are paying for their Winter bolt-holes?
I pay £9/night for five nights and get two free, that's £180/month for one adult, £5/night for the same deal for additional adults. This is for a well drained gravelled serviced pitch (incl. hook-up), includes an adjacent grass area for an awning & parking.

Re: Out of season site rates I use Caravan Club and Camping & Caravan Club in the winter. On average £10 a night. In the summer I use CL's and CS's and not had to spend more than £10 a night. Prices are creaping up though

Re: Out of season site rates Yes, Chris, prices are creeping up but fees can be negotiated on private sites - not so on club sites.
Here's one CL we stayed at in the Hambleton Hills, North Yorkshire. A wonderful couple running it and only £7/night including electric. The owner even let John use his workshop to do a few small jobs and insisted the truck was garaged!!

Re: Out of season site rates I always think that winter site fees are a bargain if electricity is thrown in. Imagine you are using about 2.5kw/h with the Alde on full blast... over 24 hours that is 60kW. At a domestic tariff of about 10p per unit that would be about £6.

Re: Out of season site rates Anybody fancy naturist sites, Toni and I have been members for forty years, great value, sites all over britain and our local club (not to far from delamere Chris) is brilliant. Clubhouse, showers, tennis courts,sauna,hot tub, large outdoor pool, and all for a site fee of £180 a year, stay as often as you like and elec inc. These clubs and sites are all over Europe and in particular France. Anybody interested check out the British Naturism website . Get the all over tan with a great social side and lots of families from all walks of life. There is NO sexual side to naturism. Our local club is Liverpool Sun and Air society, its on the internet.
